I am starting this blog to give
hope to those who are attempting to do long distance or are currently
doing long distance and need a pick me up. It is not easy trying to
stretch love across the pond, across the country or even simply across
the state. It is going to be hard and at times you are going to feel
like its not worth doing but all I can say to you is on those days when
you feel all hope is gone, find some new inspiration. Find ways of
reminding yourself of why you started this relationship in the first
place. Listen to a song, or shuffle through photos, or you could start
the new frenzy that is taking over, Pinterest. I have a board dedicated
to just my significant other and when I am feeling down I browse through
the quotes and photos to find that calming feeling and the love that I
have for him.
All I can say to you is that do
not let anyone tell you that it is not worth it or it wont work, because
your love story is different and unique and if you love someone enough
to even attempt long distance than there is enough love there to make it
last.
Time comes and goes, but true love lasts a lifetime.
